Very nice, clean, stylish hotel.
Excelent room size, very quiet hotel. Good bathroom and shower. The hotel has a unique style. Staff and owners and very helpfull. Breakfast is good.
The pool area needs some attention. There are no accesibility ramps for people limited mobility. No parking on premises or nearby.

Home away from home.
Hotel La Bluette is a romantic and elegant hotel by the beach in La Barra. Suitable for English speakers as the owner and some staff at the property are fully fluent in Spanish and English. It is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in La Barra where there is a very good supermarket, two chemists and a bureau de change. But the best part is that the hotel is literally steps to the beach. The Hotel also has a swimming pool in a cozy courtyard. The personal attention is AMAZING and Hugo and his wife will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. There is an excellent pizzeria below the restaurant that is intimate and romantic and where English is also spoken. Literally dinner on your doorstep!! Hotel La Bulette is an easy fifteen minute commute to downtown Punta del Este as well as the conference centre. Thus, an excellent location and you can combine a holiday with business. As to the personal attention: I checked in at 4 a.m. in the morning and Hugo was there to meet me. Breakfast is at your convenience. A home away from home.
There was nothing that I did not like. A most enjoyable stay. One small recommendation is to have bottled water in the rooms.
